Your Appointment
If an emergency arises when we are closed then you can visit another local dentist or make use of the accident and policy included in your Dental Care Plan with Hiscox insurance – accident and emergency insurance which covers you worldwide as long as you are a minimum of 25 miles away from Stella Dental.
If you are not on our Dental Care Plan we will still endeavour to see you on the same day for an emergency assessment wherever possible, at a cost of £60.00. Please bear in mind that Dental Care Plan patients get priority.
During an emergency assessment, the dentist will ascertain the cause of the problem and devise a treatment plan accordingly. X-rays will be taken and antibiotics prescribed, but only if necessary. Dentists have been urged to prescribe fewer antibiotics to prevent antibiotic resistance.

For our patients on our Dental Care Plan, we do offer same-day emergency appointments wherever possible during the working day. At Stella Dental we also provide a 24-hour emergency advice line that allows to you reach the dental practice manager Anthony Dash.

In the event we are closed due to the weekend or bank holiday then you are able to visit another nearby dentist. You can also use our accident policy included in your Dental Care Plan with Hiscox insurance. This insurance can cover you worldwide as long as you are a minimum of 25 miles away from Stella Dental.

If you are not with us on the Dental Care Plan we will allow same-day appointments however, our patients with our plan receive priority. The emergency assessment will also cost £60.
